Who is it suitable for?
There are no hard and fast rules as to who will be acceptable as a client.
As a guide if you can answer “yes” to the following we can have an initial telephone conversation to take it further:
- Do you have deposit funds available of circa £65,000? or
- Do you own your own property with a property value of circa £65,000 in excess of the mortgage?
- Do you have a salary of at least £40,000 pa?
However, your ability to afford a buy to let investment will depend on your disposable income.
You may have very high earnings. But you may also have a very high residential mortgage and other financial commitments. In this instance it is unlikely we would recommend you take on additional loans.
Our ideal client would be looking to build a portfolio of say 5 properties over a period of 3 years
